Not sure how to start this off but I feel like hi is probably my best bet. I’m Jen and this is my blog all about my Level 3 Business Administration qualification. I have been set the task of writing a blog all about what I do in my working day, and how I find my Level 3 qualification, having already completed my Level 2. Personally, I do not feel I was the best fit for this job, but like everything (within reason!), I will give it a go.
A bit of background info on me. I am 20 years old, I joined Absolute Works 2 years ago, when I had a mid-teen crisis and didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, I’m sure a lot of people can relate! I joined Absolute Works having no experience in an office environment whatsoever, got thrown straight into the deep end, but I haven’t looked back since.
Like everyone, I have my ups and downs at work, my colleagues can certainly vouch for my downs. However, I wouldn’t change my job for the world, after all, the chaos and busyness keeps me distracted from the realisation that the most exciting thing to happen to me last weekend was learning to knit…I am 20 YEARS OLD.
Back to business, I did my Level 2 Business Administration qualification last year. This year I am doing my Level 3. Or at least attempting to. When my boss offered me the chance to do my Level 3 qualification, in house, now that we have set our own Apprenticeship scheme up, saying no didn’t even cross my mind. Gaining a free qualification + all the help I need sat on the opposite side of the office to me = yes please!
My Assessor and Apprenticeship Manager are an absolute dream team, and I’m not only saying that because they are most likely reading this (hi guys!). They really do go above and beyond to help me when I’m stuck, or being a bit lazy, and they have the patience of a Saint.
As much fun as this has been to think of and put together, I really ought to get back to doing my work and do a round of drinks (office etiquette 101!).
