Launching the new Level 5 Operational and Departmental Management Apprenticeship programme as part of the Tiger Academy, Joy May, CEO commented;
“I am so pleased to be able to launch our latest Absolute Apprenticeship programme for Operational managers. These programmes have a real impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of the business and on the managers approach to work and life. They make a big difference to the profitability of Tiger and managers feel more valued and supported by Tiger”.
This is a 24-month programme tailored to meet the needs of Tiger Store Managers and to help them to solve the varied issues and challenges that their organisation faces in an increasingly tough trading environment.
Hosted in our training suite at our Head Office in Kenilworth the programme offers modules that cover project management, communications, finance, leading people, building relationships, communicating information, self-awareness, ad management of self, and decision making. These will be supported by online learning, drop in workshops, coaching and mentoring. Assessment will take place in the workplace.
Each manager will work on an overarching project that will explore key issues in their store and seek to improve operations, people management and profitability.
After the successful two-day induction workshop the Management Apprentices commented:
